Baptized in 2013, HURyCAN is a project of scenic creation that affirms the communicative need of the movement, its potential, its limits, its personal and emotional dimensions. The works expose the physical and sensitive experience through naive and transgressive games, favouring the link with the spectator through an expressive space and the dynamic balance of a dance open to imagination, humour, and emotion.
The company is represented by Entr’act, which was founded in December 2010 by Casper de Vries and Claudia Geubel with the aim to facilitate and support festivals and companies. They accompany artists from all over Europe and help them travel beyond their own borders.
Case Study show: tuS extremoS
tuS extremoS is a trio dance performance in 3 parts: a duet, a solo and a trio, running 50 minutes total. It plays outdoors in an 8m x 8m performance area for an audience of 300-600 people on 3 or 4 sides.
